About Nasrin Restaurant

Nasrin Restaurant is a Halal fine dining restaurant serving authentic Iranian Cuisine. Nasrin provides a customer-friendly ambience, sumptuous food & vintage feel. Authentic cuisines are specially prepared here by the chefs from Iran. Restaurant hours are on Monday to Sunday daily from 11.30 am - 3.00 am. To achieve a delicious and a balanced flavour, exclusive Persian spices such as saffron and dried bitter limes are delicately added. Nasrin also offer a perfect venue for holding get-together, chilling out and parties at their very own boutique designed private function rooms. This includes birthday parties, business meetings, KTV sessions or just simply chilling out with a few friends privately. They have about 4 private rooms available for bookings daily.

Personal comments, observations and experience

From the outside view, Nasrin appeared to be ordinary, nothing special or exclusive.
It didnt stand up from the rest of the sheesha shops.
The reason we came to Nasrin was because, it was highly recommended by our friends.
According to them, Nasrin provide good service.
The sheesha and food is at an affordable price and the place is comfortable.

It was already in the evening when we reached arab street.
The whole place was lited up, it was beautiful.
Upon reaching Nasrin, a waiter approaches us to welcome us.
He brought us up to the 2nd level.
The interior of the 2nd level was classier than the 1st level.
The stairs was carpeted; there was a huge mirror, a dining area and a floor seating area.
All of the floor seating area was either taken or reserved.
Luckily for us, we got the dining area.
But then, they had conditions.
We had to order 2 complete meals in order to sit there.

So, we ordered 2 pocket pizzas, a root beer float, banana milkshake, laziza apple and mineral water.
The drinks arrived 1st, and then the food came after 15 minutes.
The plastic cups that came with the drinks were not suitable with the mediterranean concept.
It would be better if they changed it to glass.
The pizza was delicious even though it wasn’t presented well.
Besides that, they have a television set and an aquarium.
The television set is meant for entertainment purposes like watching soccer games.
This would attract more soccer fans to come.
Majority of the customers were Malay at that point of time.
We went on a Saturday at around 6 to 11 pm.
We ordered honeydew peach sheesha.
This was our 1st time trying sheesha.
We both tried and had a difficulty tasting the flavour.
After a while, then we tasted it. It was okay.
It was not addictive.

So, we started the interview.
Here are the questions,

1. Do you enjoy going sheesha?
2. Why do you go sheesha?
3. Which one plays a bigger part? Price or place?
4. Who do you go sheesha with?
5. Why do you choose Nasrin?
6. Which one plays a bigger part? Good service or price?
7. The usual customers, what is their age range?
8. What makes Nasrin different from the rest?
9. Which one do you prefer? Sitting on the floor or the dining area?
10. Which one do you prefer, arab street or Bugis?

Right after the interview, there was a blackout.
It was shocking at first. Some customers cheered, some jeered.
It was funny.
We tried to interview the manager but he was busy.
Because there was a lot of complains about reservations.

Our proposal,

To design a space for games.
Mainly, board games and card games.
Like monopoly, jumanji.
Widest collection of board games.

based on the interview,
the regular customers will bring card games to entertain themselves.
so, putting a game area would make it convienient for the customers.
a shelf filled with games for the customers.
this will make the get together sesssions more fun.
they can have friends/family bonding time.

the queue line for the toilet is long,
so adding another cubicle would make it more convienient for the customers.

A clean toilet, at least 2 cubicles.

last friday, at alif.
meet dad's friends at 8-1Opm.

and then at 10 plus, when we are otw home,
dad's friend car, uncle sam. broke down.
near senja lrt, so all of us - 3 families patah balikk.

and we stayed till 4 in the morning, and the car is still un-fixable.
i was superrr sleepy by then and wanted badly to peeeee. OMG, imagine that,

HOLAA, todayy instead of hanging out with the boys to WWW. we girls chill out instead, at eima's.
so there were munching, singing, fb-ing.
but then halfway we got bored, so we started snapping photos. here were the pics. i was the photographer btw.

and thenn, halfway through eima forced me to be the model too. so i search her closet.
and found this dress that she can't fit anymore and tried it on. its super damn melekat. HAHAS. but i still manage to wear it. hahas.

OMGoshh, she is so adorable. she's 4 and her adek is 1 yr plus, i think.
and her abang name was fauzie laili. which i thought she was joking.
so the conversation was,

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MUMMY.

today, was complicated to get her out from the house and not to go to lott.
basically, adek was there to buy her a cake, so we can't accidentally bump into each other at lot. but as being mum, she still went to lott and we bump into each other. pfffffffffttttttttttttt. BUT thank goodness, adek havent bought a cake.
so i decided to drag her all the way to causeway point, what's my excuse? hahas, to belanjer her, and i have only $20 buckks. it was a last minute thing, pathetic i tell you. i used up everything. hahas.

so i have to let my adekk to decorate the house and get the cake ready. i have to buy time, and i was smsing every single minute to update about our wherebeings to adek. aaaaahhhhhh, hard when mum was sitting right next to me and staring at my hp.
finally at 8 then everything was ready.
and everything went as plan. hahas.
